Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Maida
• 2 cups – Wheat flour or atta
• a pinch – Salt
• 4 tbsp – Ghee
• 1 cup – Sugar

Method:

  1. Make a stiff dough of the maida and wheat flour, ghee and salt.
  2. Roll out into 1 inch thick rotis.
  3. Cut into small squares.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan and Deep Fried the cut squares till golden.
  5. Boil sugar to get a thick two-strand syrup.
  6. Dip the fried squares in the syrup and leave it for 5 mins.
  7. Drain, cool and serve.
