Ingredients:

• 8-10 – small dried fish
• 1 – Onion (chopped)
• 1 – Tomato
• 10-12 – Garlic pods (mashed)
• 5-6 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – Mustard oil
• salt to taste
• a few Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Heat mustard oil and add the chopped onion. Fry for a minute. Keep aside.
  2. Roast the dried fish on a tava. Wash with warm water and drain.
  3. Roast the tomato and peel the skin off. Mash and mix with the fish.
  4. Add the garlic, chopped chillies, salt and mix.
  5. Add the fried onion and mix again.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rice.
