Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – Yam (peeled and cut into slices)
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• Salt to taste
• 4 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Marinate the yam slices with all the ingredients (except the oil) and keep aside for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add the yam a little at a time.
  3. Shallow fry till golden brown.
