Ingredients:
• 2 (medium size) – Onions
• 2 (medium size) – Tomatoes
• 10 – Cashew nuts (soak it for 15 minutes)
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tbsp – oil
• 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
• Coriander leaves
• 1/2 tsp – Garam Masala
• 1 tsp – coriander powder
• 1/4 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric
• A small piece (grated) – Ginger
• 1/2 lbs – Paneer
Method:
- Cut onions, tomatoes and chillies into small pieces. Cut paneer into triangular pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add diced onions and chillies.
- After 3 minutes, add ginger, coriander powder, chilli powder, cashew nuts, salt and fresh coriander leaves.
- After 2 minutes, put tomatoes.
- Cover it and cook until raw smell goes and tomatoes are fully cooked.
- Leave this mixture for some time so that it cools down
- Grind this mixture to a smooth paste.
- Again put this paste into a pan and add some water.
- Let it simmer for 2-3 mins.
- Put paneer pieces into it and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot with naan or chapattis.
