Ingredients:

• 1.75 cups – all purpose flour
• 1.5 cups – Milk
• 1/3 cup – cooking oil
• 1.5 cups – Sugar
• 2.5 tsps – baking powder
• 1.5 tsps – salt
• 1- beaten Egg

Method:

  1. In a large mixing bowl stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the centre.
  2. Combine egg, milk and oil. Add egg mixture all at once to the flour mixture.
  3. Stir till moistened. Butter should be lumpy.
  4. Grease muffin cups or line with paper bake cups, till 2/3 full.
  5. Bake at 200 degree C in an oven for 20 to 25 mins. or till golden brown.
  6. Remove from pans; serve warm.
