• 4 tbsp – granulated Sugar
• 2 tbsp – water
• juice of 1/2 Lemon
• 1/4 tsp – glycerine
- Heat the sugar in heavy sauce pan, stirring continuously.
- When the sugar melts and begins to turn brown, sprinkle water on top and stir again.
- Add glycerine and stir again (the mixture should coat the back of a spoon).
- Cook for a minute and take off the flame.
- Stir in the lemon juice.
- Pour onto cake, ice cream or pastry immediately.
