Ingredients:

• 4 – big or medium size ripe Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – salt
• 1/2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/4 tsp – Turmeric powder (haldi)
• 1/4 tsp – Hing (asafoetida)
• 1/4 tsp – Mustard Seeds
• 2 tbsp – oil

Method:

  1. Wash the tomatoes and cut them into small pieces. Add oil in your pan. When it is heated, add mustard seeds. Let the mustard seed splutter.
  2. Add tomatoes, turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida.
  3. Cook them nicely in a low flame, till the oil sticks out.
  4. Relish it with chapatti or with bread sandwich.
