
Ingredients:
• For Rice base:
• 2 cups – Rice flour
• 3 – eggs (beaten)
• 1 cup – water
• 1 cup – Ghee or Butter
• Salt to taste
• For Topping:
• 1/2 lb – chopped/minced Chicken (any other Meat can be used)
• 1/2 cup – finely chopped Onions
• 1/2 cup – diced Tomatoes
• 1 tsp – garlic, minced
• 1 tsp – ginger, minced
• 1/2 tsp – freshly ground black pepper
• Salt to taste
• 3 tbsps – cooking oil/butter
Method:
- Heat oil
- Fry onions, garlic and ginger until light brown. Put in minced meat, salt and pepper.
- Add tomatoes just before the meat is done.
- Cook until meat is nearly done and keep aside.
- Mix rice flour, eggs, water and a pinch of salt to make cake-like batter.
- Heat butter over a pan.
- Pour in some batter and spread out into a thin crust.
- Cover the pan and cook just on one side for a few minutes.
- Don’t turn onto the other side.
- Put the meat topping over it and cook for a few minutes again with lid.
- Serve hot with spicy achar or chutney.
