Ingredients:

• 6 – sandwich bread slices
• 1 – onion, sliced
• 1 – capsicum, sliced
• 1 – carrot, sliced
• 2 – Green chillies
• 1 tsp – garlic, grated
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tbsp – Tomato sauce
• 2 tbsp – Red Chilli sauce
• 1 tbsp – soy sauce
• 1 tbsp – Vinegar
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – vegetable oil
• 1/2 tsp – Basil

Method:

  1. Cut the bread into square pieces and slightly toast them in a non-stick pan or grill.
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick wok or pan, add garlic.
  3. Saute for a minute.
  4. Add onions, stir and add carrots and green chillies. Saute for a minute.
  5. Now add red chilli sauce, soy sauce, red chilli powder, salt and ajinomoto, mix well.
  6. Add in the capsicum, stir and add vinegar over the top.
  7. Finally add bread cubes, mix gently so that the masala get mixed with bread cubes. Cook for a minute.
  8. Add basil leaves and serve hot.
