
Ingredients:
• For Biscuit Layer:
• 400 g – Marie biscuits, crushed coarsely
• 100 g – walnuts, crushed
• 2 tbsp – Butter melted
• 1/2 cup – sugar, powdered
• 2 or 3 drops – vanilla essence
• For Inner Layer:
• 1 slab – Cadbury Milk chocolate
• 1/2 cup – whole Milk powder
• 1/2 cup – walnuts, crushed coarsely
• 1/2 can – condensed Milk
• 1/4 cup – cocoa powder
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• For Coating:
• 1 cup – Walnut powder
Method:
- For Biscuit Layer: Mix all ingredients, spread out on a thick greased plastic sheet. Pat to a thick layer, well pressed.
- Keep refrigerated till required.
- For Inner Layer:
- Melt butter, chocolate in a heavy pan, on low heat.
- When melted, add condensed milk, mix, stir continuously.
- Add milk powder, cocoa, mix well till no lumps remain.
- Take off fire, add all walnuts, mix again.
- Cool a bit, spread out carefully on biscuit layer.
- Using the sheet to apply pressure, press into a cylinder.
- The rolled product will look like a Swiss roll.
- Roll this in walnut powder.
- Chill, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices.
- Store in airtight container.
