Ingredients:

• 1 – medium Chow chow
• 3 tbsp – fresh Coconut
• 3 tbsp – Urad Dal
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 1 – tamarind, marble size

Method:

  1. Grate chow chow finely.
  2. Heat 1 teaspoon of oil, and fry the urad dal, red chillies, mustard, and tamarind.
  3. Then add chow chow and saute for 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Grind all the ingredients inclusding coconut into a fine paste.
  5. This can be mixed with rice and a little ghee or it can be served with idli and dosa.
