• 2 cups – Rice
• 1 cup – Coconut
• Salt to taste


  1. Soak the rice for 2 to 3 hours and grind it well along with the coconut
  2. Add the coconut and grind it, so that it becomes like a dosa batter. Add salt as needed.
  3. Take a pan, pour a little coconut oil, then pour 2 to 3 ladles of dosa batter and allow it to thicken.
  4. Keep stirring it, so that it doesn’t get burnt
  5. Then add the thickened paste to the ground batter.
  6. Make dosas on a tawa and serve
