• Coconut, grated – 1 cup
• Sugar – 1 cup


  1. Mix the coconut and sugar well in an electric rice cooker.
  2. Switch on the “cook” mode.
  3. Once it goes to the “keep warm” mode, stir and switch on the “cook” mode again.
  4. When it moves to “keep warm” mode again, remove the burfi onto a greased plate.
  5. Pour and cut when cool.
