Ingredients:

• 5 – 6 – Red Chillies
• 6 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Tomato paste/puree
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 4 tsp – Oil
• 1/4 cup – Water

Method:

  1. Grind coarsely red chillies and garlic and add tomato paste and red chilli powder to this along with 1/4 cup water.
  2. Heat 2 tsp oil in a wok, add the paste and cook.
  3. Add salt, when it comes to boil, simmer and cook covered with a lid on a slow fire for 5 mins or till the oil separates from the gravy.
  4. Switch off the flame and add 2 tsp of oil.
  5. Leave it covered for 3 more mins.
  6. Serve it with rice or veg fried rice or ghee rice.
