Ingredients:

• fish slices (use any big flaky fish) – 1/2 kg
• Onion – 1 cup, minced
• Garlic – 2 tsp, minced
• Green chillies – 1 tbsp, minced
• Ginger – 1 tsp, minced
• cumin powder – 1 tsp
• chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
• grated Coconut – 2 tbsp
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Steam the fish till cooked.
  2. Cool, remove the skin and bones and flake the fish.
  3. Combine all the ingredients from onion to salt together and mix with the fish.
  4. Sprinkle grated coconut on top.
  5. Serve as an accompaniment to rice and curry.
