Ingredients:

• Raw banana – 100 g
• Yam – 100 g
• Green chilli – 100 g
• Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
• Pepper Powder – 10 g
• Salt – to taste
• Ghee – 1 tsp
• Yogurt – 1 litre
• Grated Coconut – 1/2 Coconut
• Cumin seed – 1/4 tsp
• Fenugreek powder – 1/2 tsp
• For Seasoning:
• Coconut or Refined Oil – 1 tsp
• Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
• Dried red chilli – 2
• Curry leaves – As per need

Method:

  1. Cut the raw banana and yam into small pieces after removing the skin.
  2. Split the end of the green chillies.
  3. Add the split chillies, turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt on to the pieces of banana and yam and pour enough water and cook.
  4. Cook till the water is absorbed completely.
  5. Add ghee and stir nicely.
  6. After stirring, add the lump-free yogurt to it.
  7. Grind the grated coconut and the cumin seed.
  8. Let the yogurt boil for a while and when it becomes thick, add the grated coconut into it and remove from the flame.
  9. Season with all the ingredients above.
  10. In the end, add the fenugreek powder and stir well.
