Ingredients:

• Paneer, cut into 2 x 1/4 – 250 gms
• Mint chutney – 1/2 cup
• For the batter:
• Chick pea flour – 1 cup
• Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
• Garlic paste – 1.5 tsp
• Ajwain (carum seeds) – 1 tsp
• Salt to taste
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. In a bowl, mix ingredients for batter.
  2. Add water and whisk for 2 mins. with hand to make a batter of coating consistency.
  3. Spread chutney between two slices of paneer.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan, dip the paneer cheese sandwiches into the batter and deep fry till golden brown on medium heat.
