
Ingredients:
• 2 large – pomfrets.
• 2 tsp – salt.
• Banana leaves.
• 1 – lemon| For the chutney:
• 1 fresh – coconut.
• 1 cup – chopped kothmir.
• 8 – green chillies.
• 1 tsp – Jeera seeds.
• 6 large Cloves – garlic.
• 2 tsp – sugar.
• 1 tsp – salt.
• 2 tsp – Lemon juice.
Method:
- Grind all the ingredients for the chutney.
- Rub salt and lime into fish.
- Coat each slice with chutney.
- Rub a little oil on the inside of the banana leaf.
- Wrap each slice in a leaf and tie it with a cotton string.
- Place the fish pieces on a vessel with holes at the bottom, over a vessel with boiling water and allow it to steam for about 10 mins.
