Ingredients:
• 1 lb packet – peas| For Seasoning:
• 10 to 12 – cashews.
• 1/2 tsp – mustard seeds.
• 1/2 tsp – cumin.
• Curry leaves.
• 1/4 tsp – turmeric.
• 2 tsp – cooking oil| Grind to fine Paste:
• 1/2 cup – Sesame.
• 4-5 Red Chilli pods.
• 1 tsp – cumin.
• 1 tsp – Rice flour or 2 tsp – soaked Rice and 1/2 cup – water.
Method:
- In a pan heat 2 tsp cooking oil. Add the seasonings.
- When the seeds pop, add the peas and fry for a few minutes.
- Now, add 2 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Once the peas are tender, add the ground paste. Add salt to taste. Bring to boil.
- Top with 1 tsp ghee.
