• 2 cups – Wheat flour
• 3/4 cup – Sugar
• 1 cup – toned Milk
• 1/4 cup – refined oil
• A pinch of salt
• Oil for frying
- Boil milk in a vessel and add sugar and oil. Stir continuously till the sugar is dissolved. Allow this to cool to room temperature.
- Pour this into a mixture of wheat flour and a pinch of salt and knead it to a dough.
- After 30 mins, take a small portion of the dough and roll it flat. Cut it into small diamond-shaped pieces.
- Fry these pieces in refined sunflower oil (on medium heat) to light brown and spread it on a tissue paper to soak excess oil.
