Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Bread crumbs.
• 50 gms – Candied citron peel.
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon.
• 6 tbsp – Currants.
• 4 – Eggs.
• 1/2 cup – Flour, maida.
• 1/2 cup – Milk.
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder.
• 6 tbsp – Plums.
• 6 tbsp – Raisins.
• 1/4 tsp- Salt.
• 1/2 cup – Sugar.

Method:

  1. Soak the bread crumbs in water and mash them well.
  2. Now blend the flour with a little milk into a paste.
  3. Then add the remaining milk and mashed bread crumbs and blend well.
  4. Wash the plums, and currants, and dry them.
  5. Deseed the raisins and cut the candied peel into small thin slices and keep aside.
  6. Now coat the dry fruits with the dry flour and keep aside.
  7. Then combine the mashed bread, the flour paste and the dry fruits.
  8. Add the slightly beaten eggs, sugar, grated nutmeg and powdered cinnamon to it. Mix well.
  9. Now pour this into a greased pudding dish, and bake or steam.
