Ingredients:
• 1 cup – Bread crumbs.
• 50 gms – Candied citron peel.
• 1/2 tsp – Cinnamon.
• 6 tbsp – Currants.
• 4 – Eggs.
• 1/2 cup – Flour, maida.
• 1/2 cup – Milk.
• 1/2 tsp – Nutmeg powder.
• 6 tbsp – Plums.
• 6 tbsp – Raisins.
• 1/4 tsp- Salt.
• 1/2 cup – Sugar.
Method:
- Soak the bread crumbs in water and mash them well.
- Now blend the flour with a little milk into a paste.
- Then add the remaining milk and mashed bread crumbs and blend well.
- Wash the plums, and currants, and dry them.
- Deseed the raisins and cut the candied peel into small thin slices and keep aside.
- Now coat the dry fruits with the dry flour and keep aside.
- Then combine the mashed bread, the flour paste and the dry fruits.
- Add the slightly beaten eggs, sugar, grated nutmeg and powdered cinnamon to it. Mix well.
- Now pour this into a greased pudding dish, and bake or steam.
