Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Sugar
• 500 ml – water
• 2 tsp – Raspberry essence
• cochineal if needed

Method:

  1. Mix together sugar and water. Put it on slow fire and let it cook till thick syrup consistency is reached.
  2. Strain it through muslin cloth.
  3. When cool, add essence and colour.
