
Ingredients:
• Chicken (boneless thigh) – 500 g
• Onion, big, chopped – 1
• Green chilli chopped – 4
• Ginger, minced – 1/2 inch piece
• Tomato, chopped – 1 medium
• Coconut Milk – 1/2 cup or 2 tbsp – Coconut powder
• Pepper – 1 tsp
• Fennel seed – 1/2 tsp
• Cinnamon – 1/2 piece
• Oil – 1 tbsp
• Curry leaves – a few
Method:
- Dry fry pepper, fennel seed, cinnamon and powder and keep it aside. Heat the oil in a kadai add onion, green chillies and ginger and fry till transparent. Add tomato and fry for 5 mins.
- Now add the chicken pieces and fry for 10 mins. Add 1 cup water, salt and cook till the chicken is done.
- Add the coconut milk, powder masala and curry leaves. Cook for 5 more mins and remove.
- Tastes good with dosa, idli and appam.
