
Ingredients:
• 1 – valappu (plantain inflorescence)
• 1 bunch – murungakeerai (drumstick leaves)
• 100 g – green gram
• 1-2 – Red Chillies
• 1 tsp – mustard
• 3 tbsp – grated Coconut
• 3-4 – small Sambar Onions
• 1 tsp – oil
Method:
- Clean and cut valappu. Clean keerai.
- Soak paruppu in water for 2 hours. Boil valappu, keerai, and paruppu for 15 mins.
- When they are fully cooked, keep aside
- Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard.
- When it splutters, add red chillies, onions and stir for a minute .
- Then add the boiled valappu mixture and sautee for 2 mins.
- Add grated coconut and serve hot.
