Ingredients:

• For vegetable balls:
• 1 cup – Maida + Corn flour
• 3 or 4 – Cloves of garlic, chopped
• 1 inch – Ginger, chopped
• 100 g – Cabbage, grated
• 2 – Carrots, grated
• 1 – Capsicum chopped
• A pinch of soda bicarbonate
• 1/2 tsp – Salt
• 1/2 tsp – Ajinomoto
• 1 tsp – Soya sauce
• For the sauce: 6 to 7 – Cloves garlic, chopped
• 2 inch – Ginger, grated
• 3-4 green chillies, chopped
• 1 tbsp – Soya sauce
• 1tsp – Ajinomoto
• 1 tsp – Salt
• 1 tbsp – Corn flour
• 2 tbsp oil

Method:

  1. Make a tough dough with all the ingredients listed for Manchurian balls.
  2. Shape into balls and deep fry in oil.
  3. Then heat some oil, fry ginger, garlic, and green chillies for 1 min.
  4. Add 1.5 cups of water, ajinomoto, soya sauce and salt.
  5. Cook the water for 3 mins. Add balls and corn flour paste. Cook till done.
  6. Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve immediately.
