Ingredients:

• Okra – 100 gm
• Tamarind paste – 2 tsp.
• Coconut powder -3 tsp
• Sambar powder – 2 tsp
• Salt
• For Seasoning-
• Oil -1 tsp
• Curry leaves – 1 sprig
• Mustard
• Hing
• Turmeric powder.

Method:

  1. In a kadai, add 1 tsp of oil and all the seasoning ingredients. Add the cut okras and fry well.
  2. Now add tamarind water, made from 2 tsp of tamarind.
  3. Grind sambhar powder and coconut powder to a fine paste.
  4. Add this ground paste also and allow it to boil well for 5 mins.
  5. Serve hot with rice.
