Ingredients:

• 20-25 – Cashews
• 10-15 – Almonds
• 7-10 – Pistachios (un-salted)
• 10 – Black Raisins
• A pinch – Saffron
• 1 – Cardamom
• 1/4 cup – Sugar
• 1/4 cup – Milk Powder
• 1/4 cup – Water
• 2 drops – Rose Essence

Method:

  1. Take cashews, almonds, pistachios and grind them together.
  2. Take a cup of water, 1/4 cup of sugar and boil them together.
  3. Add the black raisins and the ground dry fruits to the boiling sugar syrup.
  4. Keep the flame on medium and stir the mixture for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add 1/4 cup of powdered milk to the mixture. Stir for a few minutes.
  6. Add some saffron, 2 drops of rose essence and one ground cardamom.
  7. Let the mixture cool down. The halwa is ready. Serve it cold.
