Ingredients:

• 1 cup – Self-rising flour
• 2 tbsp – Cocoa powder
• 3/4 cup – Castor Sugar
• 1 tsp – Baking powder
• 1/8 tsp – Baking soda
• 2 tbsp – Cooking oil
• 1/8th tsp – Salt
• Milk, as required
• 20-22 Chocolate Chips

Method:

  1. Sieve self-rising flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and mix them all together.
  2. Add rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  3. Keep adding 1 tbsp of milk at a time and knead a soft dough.
  4. Divide it into 20 equal portions and make round balls out of it.
  5. Flatten them a little to make a cookie shape.
  6. Make a thumbprint (not too deep) on each cookie and put a chocolate chip on each one of them.
  7. Arrange them on a lined baking tray and bake in preheated oven for 15-20 minutes on 180 degrees C.
