Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – Potatoes boiled and mashed.
• 2 – Slices bread.
• 3 tsp – Chopped, coriander leaves,.
• 2 – green chillies, chopped.
• 1/2 tsp – pepper powder.
• 3 tbsp – Bread crumbs,.
• 1/2 tsp – Chopped ginger.
• Salt to taste.
• 3 tbsp – Flour/maida.
Method:
- Soak the bread in water for 1 min, then squeeze out the water and crush it.
- Then mix it with the mashed potato and all the other ingredients (except the bread crumbs).
- Now make small balls of the potato dough.
- Roll and shape it into long patties.
- Now mix the flour in a little water to make a paste. Keep aside.
- Dip each croquette (pattie) into the flour paste, roll it on the bread crumbs and shallow fry in hot oil on both sides until golden brown.
- Serve hot with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
