Ingredients:

• 3 cups – All-purpose flour
• 1tbsp – Active Dry yeast
• 3tbsp – Olive oil
• 1tsp – Salt
• 1tsp – Sugar
• 3/4cup – Luke warm water
• Garlic Butter and Spinach filling:
• 1/2cup – Butter (room temperature)..
• 6nos Garlic Cloves (crushed)
• Salt (as per need)
• 2cups – Spinach (sauteed for few minutes in a hot pan)

Method:

  1. Take the active dry yeast, salt and sugar in a lukewarm water. Leave aside for 5 minutes, until they turn foamy.
  2. Meanwhile, take the flour in a large bowl. Make a well and add the foamy yeast and olive oil together.
  3. Knead everything as soft and smooth dough. Arrange the dough in a greased bowl.
  4. Keep in a warm place for two hours or until the dough doubles in volume.
  5. Mix the butter, garlic cloves and salt in a bowl and keep aside.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350F.
  7. Now, take the dough and roll as a thick square by dusting enough flour.
  8. Spread the already prepared garlic butter over the rolled dough, topped with sauteed spinach leaves.
  9. Press it and roll the dough as a loaf.
  10. Arrange rolled loaf in a greased loaf pan and bake in middle rack for 25-30minutes until the crust turns golden brown.
  11. Enjoy warm with a cup of tea or coffee for snacks.
