
Ingredients:
• 1 tin mixed fruit (fruit cocktail, large)
• 2 cup – Milk
• 1 cup – fresh Cream
• 250 g – vanilla sponge cake
• 2 tbsp – vanilla custard powder
• 2 tbsp – Sugar
• 3 tbsp – cashew nuts, roasted
• 2 tbsp – icing Sugar
• Walnuts and Cherries to decorate
Method:
- Take 1/2 cup of milk and mix custard powder in it. Boil remaining milk.
- Add sugar and custard powder mixture. Cook and stir till the custard is thick.
- Let the custard cool. Stir it often during this time to avoid skin forming on top.
- Cover with cling-film and keep in refrigerator.
- Cut the cake into thin slices.
- Drain the fruits from syrup.
- Take
