
Ingredients:
• Bread slices – 12
• Corn flour – 1 tbsp
• All purpose flour – 1 tbsp
• Crushed garlic/ginger – 1 tbsp
• Tandoori masala – 1/2 tsp
• Coriander – a small bunch
• Ghee – 2 tsp
• Onion – 2
• Tomato – 3
• Lemon – 1 (optional)
• Salt, chilli powder and Sugar to taste
Method:
- Cut the bread slices into 2 by 2 inch cubes.
- Heat 1 tbsp of ghee and fry the bread cubes for just a couple of minutes on medium flame. Sprinkle a little salt.
- Remove the bread cubes from the pan and heat the remaining ghee.
- Fry the onions and tomatoes.
- Mix the flours, crushed ginger/garlic in a small quantity of water. Add this mixture to the pan.
- Let the sauce boil for 5 minutes.
- Add tandoori masala and some more ghee if required.
- Add salt, chilli powder and a little sugar.
- Now add the fried bread cubes into this mixture and stir well on medium flame.
- When the mixture starts getting drier, remove from the heat.
- Garnish with coriander leaves and slices of lime. Serve hot.
