Ingredients:
• 400 ml – Milk
• 100 g – Sugar
• 50 g – Rice flour
• 4 to 5 green Cardamoms
• nuts for garnishing (almonds, pistachios, cashewnuts)
• silver leaf
Method:
- Blend rice flour with 1.5 cup cold milk till smooth. Boil remaining milk.
- Remove from fire and add blended rice flour. Simmer on low fire till quite thick.
- Add sugar and cook for a few minutes more. Pour into individual glass bowls.
- Crush cardamom seeds coarsely and sprinkle over phirnee. Chill till cold and set.
- Cut nuts into long thin slivers.
- Before serving garnish with nuts and silver leaf.
