Ingredients:
• Potatoes – 500 g, boiled, peeled and cubed.
• Garlic – 4 flakes, crushed.
• Cumin powder – 1 tsp.
• Coriander powder – 2 tsp.
• Chilli powder – 1 tsp.
• Shallots – 5 to 6, peeled.
• Curry leaves – few.
• Black pepper Corns – 1/2 tsp.
• Cardamom – 1.
• Clove – 1.
• Cinnamon – 2 cm.
• Tamarind pulp – 2 tsp.
• Water – 800 ml.
• Salt to taste.
Method:
- Combine all the ingredients together, except the potatoes.
- Bring it to a boil, simmer till the gravy thickens and becomes aromatic.
- Add potatoes and simmer for 5 more mins.
