Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup – walnuts, crushed
• 1/2 cup – cashews, crushed
• 1.5 cups – biscuits (Marie or glucose), crushed
• 1/2 cup – Sugar
• 1/2 cup – Butter
• 2 tbsp – cocoa powder
• 1/2 tsp – vanilla essence

Method:

  1. Put sugar, cocoa and butter in a non-stick pan.
  2. Cook till well dissolved.
  3. Then take it off from the heat and mix in all the other ingredients.
  4. Allow to cool till it can be handled.
  5. Grease palms and shape into diyas.
  6. Cool well till firmed.
