Ingredients:

• 2 lb. – Chicken
• 5 – Red Chillies
• 1 cup – yogurt
• 1 lb. – Onion
• 2 tsp – ginger-paste
• 4 – garlic, small
• 4 tsp – coriander powder
• 2 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 2 tsp – Cumin seed powder
• 3 tsp – Garam Masala
• 6 tsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup – water

Method:

  1. Marinate the washed chicken with yogurt, turmeric and 2 tsp of oil for 1.5 hours.
  2. Cut the onion into small pieces.
  3. Heat oil, add red chilli and let the onion fry till golden brown, then add the garlic, chilli powder, coriander powder, ginger paste and cumin seed and fry for five mins.
  4. Then add chicken pieces and fry for 20 mins then add garam masala and water cook for 5 mins.
  5. Serve with rice, chapatti, naan.
