Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg – colocasia
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 sticks – Cinnamon
• 3 – medium tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – coriander power
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder/all spice powder
• 4 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan and saute the cinnamon and onions for a few minutes
- Add the tomatoes and fry on medium heat till soft.
- Add the colocasia and mix well.
- Add all the other ingredients and sufficient water and mix well.
- Cook on low heat till the colocasia is cooked.
- Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve with rice or chapattis.
