Ingredients:

• 1/2 kg – colocasia
• 1 – onion, chopped
• 2 sticks – Cinnamon
• 3 – medium tomatoes, chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 1 tsp – coriander power
• 1 tsp – cumin powder
• 1 tsp – Garam Masala powder/all spice powder
• 4 tbsp – oil
• Salt to taste
• 2 tbsp – chopped Coriander leaves

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and saute the cinnamon and onions for a few minutes
  2. Add the tomatoes and fry on medium heat till soft.
  3. Add the colocasia and mix well.
  4. Add all the other ingredients and sufficient water and mix well.
  5. Cook on low heat till the colocasia is cooked.
  6. Garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.
  7. Serve with rice or chapattis.
