Ingredients:

• 1 kg – Beef (round steaks)
• 2 tsp – black pepper powder
• 2 tsp – chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp – Turmeric powder
• 3- onions, sliced finely
• 1 tsp – Mustard powder or paste
• 3 tbsp – oil
• Salt – to taste
• 1 tbsp – Worcestershire sauce or Tomato ketchup (Optional)

Method:

  1. Wash the steaks and flatten them by beating with a big knife or cleaver after placing it on the cutting board.
  2. Marinate the steaks with all the above ingredients and leave for 2 or 3 hours.
  3. Heat a pan and cook the steaks on low heat till they are soft and tender. (Add some water if required).
  4. Serve with bread and mashed potatoes.
