
Ingredients:
• 1.5 cups – Kaju powder (cashew nut)
• 1/2 cup – mawa (75 g) (khoya)
• 1/2 cup – Sugar (heaped)
• 1/2 tsp – Cardamom powder
Method:
- Add water to sugar, heat and prepare into thick syrup.
- Mix mawa, cashew powder with the syrup, continue stirring on low flame.
- When the mixture starts leaving the sides of pan or when white bubbles start emanating from the bottom of pan add cardamom powder, put off the heat.
- When the barfi cools down a little, pour it into a greased thali.
- Allow it to cool down and set before cutting it into pieces.
