Ingredients:
• 4 slices – Bread
• 1/2 cup – White Rava (Sooji)
• 1/2 cup – Yogurt
• 1/2 – Onion (big), chopped
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 2 tsp – Coriander leaves, chopped
• Turmeric powder (a generous pinch)
• Ghee to toast
• Salt to taste
Method:
- Mix all the ingredients except bread and make a semi-thick batter.
- Spread the batter on each slice of bread to coat well.
- Heat a tawa, add 1/2 tsp ghee, place the bread slice carefully, then coat the other side with batter.
- Once it gets cooked on one side, flip and toast the bread slice till it is golden brown on both the sides.
- Serve with tomato sauce.
