Ingredients:

• 6 – big Onions
• 2 cups – vegetable stock
• 4 tsp – Tamarind pulp
• 2 – Red Chillies
• 3 Cloves – Garlic
• 2 tbsp – Butter
• 2 tbsp – plain flour (maida)
• salt to taste

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a pan and stir fry the onions till golden brown.
  2. Add the plain flour and stir again.
  3. Mix the vegetable stock and keep stirring gradually.
  4. Cool the mixture and blend in a blender with red chillies, garlic, tamarind pulp, salt, onions, vegetable stock and make a paste.
  5. Boil once and serve hot.
