Ingredients:

• 500 g – rangi ruli (fish like salmon, trout, herring , sardines can also be used)
• 2 tbsp – black Mustard Seeds powder
• 2-3 – Green chillies
• 1 – large Onion
• 1 tsp – Turmeric powder
• Salt, as required
• Oil as required

Method:

  1. Cut and wash the fish thoroughly.
  2. Make a paste of onion and green chillies.
  3. Mix black mustard powder, turmeric powder, salt with a tbsp of water. and add to the onion paste.
  4. Marinate the fish with this paste for 10 mins.
  5. Deep Fried the fish in hot oil till golden brown.
  6. Serve with dal and rice.
