
Ingredients:
• 500 gms – Paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
• Marinade
• 2 tbsp – Lemon juice
• 1 tsp – Red Chilli powder
• 1 tsp – salt
• 2 tbsp – Ginger Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – Green chilli paste
• 1 tsp – ajwain seeds (carom seeds)
• 3 tbsp – fresh coriander leaves, chopped
• 1.5 tsp – Caraway seeds
• 2 tbsp – roasted gram flour
• 5 tbsp – Yoghurt
• oil for basting
• chaat masala for garnish
• Coriander leaves
• chopped for garnish
• salt to taste
Method:
- Boil water in a pan and immerse the paneer such that the paneer is covered completely with water.
- When the water starts boiling again, remove pan from heat and set aside for 30 mins and drain.
- Mix all the ingredients for Marinade and mix the paneer into it.
- Set aside for 30 mins and drain.
- In a separate bowl, mix the ingredients for Marinade
- Mix the paneer into this and set aside for 3 hours.
- Apply oil on the skewers and skewer the paneer cubes.
- Grill the paneer in a tandoor for 8-10 mins.
- Sprinkle chaat masala and garnish with coriander leaves.
