Ingredients:

• Aval – 1 cup
• Jaggery – 3/4 cup
• Coconut (cut into small pieces) – 1/4 cup
• Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
• Ghee – 2 tsp
• Water as required

Method:

  1. Heat water, put the jaggery in it and boil for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Filter the jaggery liquid.
  3. In a bowl, put the aval and pour the jaggery liquid till the level of aval.
  4. Let it soak for 5-10 minutes.
  5. Fry the coconut pieces in ghee.
  6. Add fried coconut pieces, ardamom powder to the soaked aval and mix gently.
