Ingredients:

• Milk – 3 litres
• Sugar – 5 to 6 tbsp
• custard powder – 1 tbsp
• Almonds, soaked and sliced – 15
• 1/2 cup – cold Milk

Method:

  1. Make paneer (cottage cheese) with 1 liter milk.
  2. Cool the paneer and put it in a sieve and wash it well under running water.
  3. Boil 2 liters of milk.
  4. Let it boil for some time till the quantity reduces a little.
  5. Add the paneer and sugar to the boiling milk.
  6. Let it simmer on slow fire for a little while, till it thickens.
  7. Add the custard powder dissolved in half cup of cold milk to it.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes and switch off the gas.
  9. Garnish with sliced almonds and serve chilled.
