Ingredients:

• 200 g – all-purpose flour
• 50 g – semolina (sooji)
• 1/2 cup – oil
• 1/2 cup – dried Fenugreek leaves
• 1 tsp -carom seed(ajwain)
• salt to taste
• for frying – vegetable oil

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and knead a little into a hard dough.
  2. Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Make small balls and roll to a size of small pancake on flat board, heat oil in a kadai and deep fry on low flame for some time.
  4. When it becomes golden from both sides, drain on paper towel.
  5. Let it cool and store in air tight container.
  6. Enjoy with tea.
