Ingredients:

• 300g – Mawa or khoya
• 3-4 tbsp – All purpose flour (Maida)
• Sugar to make syrup
• Water
• Kesar
• Elachi
• Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Make a soft dough of maida and khoya.
  2. Take small pieces of the dough and roll it into small balls.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan on low, add in the maida balls one by one.
  4. After 5 min the balls will rise up.
  5. The balls must be fried on a balanced temperature.
  6. When it browns on both sides, take it out of the pan and put it into the sugar syrup (mixture of water and sugar) for 30 min approx.
  7. Serve warm
