
Ingredients:
• 1 kg – fish
• 1/2 bunch – Coriander leaves
• 1 – onion, finely chopped
• 1 tbsp – salt
• 1 tbsp – Turmeric powder
• 100 g – Mustard oil
• To grind:
• 4 tbsp – Mustard Seeds
• 4 Cloves -garlic
• 5 – Green chillies
Method:
- Wash the fish thoroughly and pat it dry. Marinate with 1 tsp salt and turmeric powder.
- Heat the kadai with 2-3 tbsp mustard oil and fry the fish.
- Saute the fishes and keep it aside.
- In the remaining oil, fry the chopped onions till the onion turns pink.
- Put the ground masala into it and reduce the flame.
- Add 1 cup of water into it.
- When it starts boiling, put the sauteed fishes into it and boil for sometime.
- After the gravy thickens, simmer it for sometime, covered.
- Garnish it with fresh chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve.
