Ingredients:

• 1 kg – fresh Chicken
• 1 tbsp – Ginger paste
• 1 tbsp – Onion paste
• 1 tbsp – Garlic paste
• 1 tsp – paste of cinnamon, Cloves and Cardamom
• 1 tsp – chilli powder
• 100 g – Mustard oil
• 4 – onions, chopped
• 1/2 cup – coconut, grated
• Cashew nuts – 25 g
• Raisins – 25 g
• Poppy seed – 25 g

Method:

  1. Clean, wash and drain the chicken
  2. Heat the kadai with mustard oil
  3. Add the chopped onions fry till pink in colour, add the chicken and fry for 5-10 mins.
  4. Add pastes of onion, ginger-garlic, 1 tsp paste of cinnamon, clove, cardamom
  5. Also add the ground masala made of coconut, cashews, raisins, and poppy seeds.
  6. Saute and fry for a while and cook covered till done
  7. Serve.
