Ingredients:

• 8 cubes – Paneer
• 8 pieces – Pineapple
• 4 square pieces – green Capsicum
• 8 – button Mushrooms
• 1 tbsp – oil
• For the malai sauce:
• 1/2 cup Cream
• 2 cubes of cheese, grated
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
• 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
• 1/2 tsp capsico sauce
• 1 tsp Lime juice
• 1 tbsp ready made mustard

Method:

  1. Take 4 skewers and thread 2 paneer cubes, 2 pineapple slices, 1 red and 1 green capsicum squares and 2 button mushrooms.
  2. Mix all the ingredients for the malai sauce and pour over the skewered vegetables . Keep aside for 5 mins.
  3. Roast in a tandoor or rotate under a hot grill, basting with the oil and sauce frequently, for 5-7 mins till the sides look like a little charred.
  4. Serve at once with a salad.
